The future will see even higher energy prices, MPs warn

Thinktank urges government help for victims of fuel poverty

The Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) have called for a revolutionary new approach to energy provision to help people with low incomes out of ‘fuel poverty’, or the situation many find themselves in of having to ration their use of heating and light.

British Gas loses advertising battle

British Gas has lost its battle with rival Scottish Power over advertisements that implied customers wouldn’t benefit by switching suppliers, as prices were rising at all companies and not just British Gas. (more…)

Scottish and Southern Energy prices up
